At Casa Bella, we manufacture all our windows in a state-of-the-art, 300,000 square foot plant in Mississauga, Ontario. We have 60 years of experience manufacturing and installing windows and doors. A system of continuous improvement is standard practice supported by our in-house Research & Development department. We are always investing in research and development to utilize the latest technology for the benefit of our customers.
All Casa Bella windows are produced on our industry leading window-sealing machine. The computer-controlled assembly injects Argon gas, fits a non-metallic super spacer and seals it with butyl for an airtight lock, all in one step. These two seal processes guarantee lasting quality and efficiency. For even greater insulating energy efficiency, you can add a high performance upgrade to our vinyl windows.
Your Casa Bella Windows And Doors professional will provide a time estimate with your contract. It’s important to note that all Casa Bella installers are hourly employees and not contractors paid by the piece, so we take our time to make sure the job is done right the first time.
With sub-contractors you never know what or who you will get. With Casa Bella, all our installers that enter your home are company employees who only install Casa Bella products and are experts in their field. Our installers are bonded, well trained and have years of experience installing and servicing our window and door products.
Casa Bella’s windows and doors are Energy Star rated to improve your home’s efficiency and lower your energy bills. We offer upgrades on all our window products that can further maximize the efficiency ratings on your investment.
Health Smart Windows® help to keep window condensation moisture off the glass by using a warm edge, non-metallic spacer between the layers of glass. All Casa Bella windows use the industry leading insulating foam, Super Spacer. This helps to reduce condensation, thereby discouraging unhealthy mold growth around windows.
The crews start every day at 7:00 am loading and processing materials for recycling. They leave our Mississauga facility every morning by 8:00 am. They should arrive at your home between 8:30 am ‐9:30 am depending upon traffic and distance.
All Casa Bella installers are experienced, licensed, insured, company employees (not sub‐contractors). Your team leader is a professional craftsman who has a minimum of 10 years’ experience and will answer any questions you may have.
If we are changing all the windows in your home we will generally start in the rear, upper floor on the first day and work our way down. You are free to arrange an alternate installation sequence with your team leader or sales representative.
The team will remove one window at a time and ensure that each opening is sealed with a new window before moving to the next. To ensure the safety and security of your home, no openings will ever be left exposed overnight. The crew will use a combination of blankets and floor runners to protect your home from dirt and damage. After all your windows are installed and sealed, the team will work on the trim and caulking to finish the job. Your old windows will be taken away and recycled at our facility.
Although window and door replacement, like any other renovation project will involve some dust and debris, our crew will minimize the mess while we work and do a thorough clean‐up when finished. We take care to ensure that your normal routine is not disrupted beyond the necessary and committed timeframe within which the job will be completed and your premises will be clean and tidy again.
The crew will need access to the interior and exterior of every window and door to be changed. Please try to clear the area on both sides if possible. All personal items should be taken from the immediate area to ensure no damage occurs. All window coverings should also be removed. If you have a question or concern please speak to your installation team leader or sales representative before work commences.
Most of the tools and materials required for your installation are kept in the trucks and trailers used by the installation team. However, if it is possible, we would appreciate the use of a part of your garage to store and stage products during the installation. This space will also help if the weather becomes an issue.
Wet and windy weather can impact the pace of work on any exterior renovation project. Our crews will try to minimize this impact by working inside while the weather is unsuitable. We will never allow your property to be damaged by the elements during an installation. This extra care is the reason why our installation start and completion dates are subject to weather conditions. Because of our expert installation process, we can even install your windows and doors during the winter.
Occasionally, our installation teams find damage (moisture issues, insect problems, mold, etc.) and previously hidden construction deficiencies upon removal of your old windows and doors. Your crew leader will point out any such issues to you and offer the best options for remediation. Your new windows are a wise decision and we do not want pre-existing structural problems to reduce your return on investment. Our number one goal is your safety and satisfaction; we will always conduct ourselves with your best interests in mind.
Casa Bella will, upon your request, route your existing alarm wires through your new windows. However, we do not provide connections or warranty alarm systems. Please consult with your security service provider for final installation and contact hook-up details.
Your installation team leader will answer any question you have about the products being installed and their proper use. You will also receive our handy Homeowners’ Guide for ongoing maintenance tips. Your sales representative and our website are also helpful resources for any questions or concerns you may have.
Your windows and doors will be professionally installed. The exterior will be completed with low maintenance materials. The inside wood extensions and casings will have an initial coat of wood filler applied. All that should be required is some minor sanding and prep and then apply the paint or stain of your choice to the interior wood components. Door systems can also be customized by adding the colour of your choice to the slab portion.
Although we strive to limit any issues post-installation, Casa Bella does have a professional customer service team at your disposal. You can contact your sales representative or our customer service office for dependable, professional service and support.
